SG brings a diverse experience spread across a period of over 25 years adept at leading Strategy & Business Operations, Business Development, Business Strategy/Planning, and forging strategic alliances in the healthcare sector. The last 6 years have been in the Public Health sector working with multiple stakeholders including state governments leveraging technology and social capital to provide access and equity to quality primary healthcare to the underserved population. He has been associated with Janaagraha, IPE Global Limited, and WISH Foundation in the social impact sector leading business advisory, access to capital, markets, and strategic alliances in helping scale innovations in Primary Healthcare within the ecosystem.

Prior to the social impact sector, he led strategy and new business development/planning at Max Healthcare and defined a roadmap for expansion from 700 beds to 2500 beds organization including geographical area, size, service profile & positioning of units including complete Feasibility Study & Business Plan of Four projects which included research of healthcare indicators, demographics both social and economic, public healthcare expenditure. He also led the organization’s engagement with State Government resulting in 2 greenfield hospital projects for Cancer, Trauma Care, and Cardiac Services being signed up under a PPP model (DBOT basis) in Bathinda & Mohali.

Some of the other roles essayed by SG have been managing sales/business operations at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, UFlex Limited, and Bilcare amongst others.

SG holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from MIT, Manipal, and is an MBA from MDI, Gurgaon.
